Remedies to Ammonia poisoning disease in aquarium water: So don’t be worry the disease will be cured by a breakdown filter through the process called Nitrification. In fact with the oxidation of the ammonia by Bacteria in the aquarium itself or more effectively by a biological the disease can be cured as described in below:
Ammonium (NH4+) Nitrite (No2) Nitrate (No3). As you know earlier the Nitrite is also very poisonous to fish as it oxidizes the red blood pigment to a compound in form of heamoglobin to methaemoglobin which cannot transfer the oxygen then it leads to aquarium fish death. Then end product, Nitrate is 2000 times less poisonous than nitrite relatively harmless to fish. You should avoid poisoning by Ammonia or Nitrite to maintain good quality aquarium water based on the natural system.
